Bootstrap theme available for ExtJS and AwareIM

Post by Rennur »

Official Bootstrap (ExtJS 4) theme is available for AwareIM. Its a simple theme but its fast, great for customisation and supports all the latest browsers.

Support, can you please include this theme as part of AwareIM themes?

Compatible browser, only Chrome?

Post by hpl123 »

I tested the demo on 3 browsers and it seems as though Chrome is the only browser that displays this theme correctly? Can this be right??

Looks like the developer needs to do a bit more work on this theme.

Unlike the standalone Bootstrap form twitter, which works with all browsers, ExtJS themes are very complex & sometimes conflict with ExtJS classes.

There are some issues with this theme  here is the link

See it now, yeah there are some problems. Works flawlessly in Chrome though and hopefully the theme is fixed in the near future so it works in all browsers.
Thanks

I don't know how to manually install a theme.

I think support have to include it on their end, in the installation package.

You can easily install a theme yourself in Aware IM. Detailed instructions should be either in the User Guide or in the How To Guide (cannot remember which one)

Try it yourself?

Post by hpl123 »

Rennur,
If you try this your self please share if it works (and possible if the process of installing a theme is difficult)
Thanks in advance

Platinium_ar,
When it comes to the installation of a theme you can find it in the "How to" documentation. Open up the documentation from the configuration tool and search for "Theme".

Rennur,
Did you try installing/configuring this theme in Aware IM by yourself?
