I was very impressed by this EXTJS Open Source tool. Is this something that could be integrated with Aware? Is this something that could be added like a plugin or a modification that would be handled by Aware?

I am curious of other Aware IM users opinions on this. I think it looks and acts sharp.

That implementation is very cool and I think it could have some real value for my users. My question is, how do we get those vista themes for Aware IM?

So what exactly would you bring across to Aware IM? This is just a demo tool that shows some windows and layouts - most of them are already implemented in Aware IM

I think the concept of having something that looks like a desktop and having the ability to place links on the desktop is appealing. It’s just another way of presenting objects in the framework layout as opposed to the current layout options

I can definitely think of some applications that could benefit this type of layout.

This example is also featured here as a web desktop under the demos at EXt-js http://www.extjs.com/deploy/dev/examples/desktop/desktop.html

However for the time being, I would rather see things like upgrading to Ext 3.0 and some additional features on the grid such as :

I completely agree with ACDC on the 3.0 and grid total functionality. There are so many great updates to ext js in 3.0 that would be great to have.
