Creating a Subreport in a Report.

I got the following 2 BO`s Accounts & Payments

I linked The Payments to be made monthly to the Account.
Theirfor monthly payments can be entered under each account.
(Multiple Allowed).

I want to create a Report which purpose will be a Statement.
The Main Report must have the Account Details & the sub Report must have all the payments made on that Account.

How do i do that. Pls Assist.

Dapron,

Create two reports. One is based on the parent object and the other on its child attribute. I imagine you understand this concept. The child object will repeat rows but the parent is based on a single record. On the parent's report, you embed the other report. This is documented in the guides. Your query criteria for the child object is something like:

child_object.Parent.ID=ThisParent.ID

Hi their. I created a Parent & Child Report & Embeded the Child Report into the Parent Report.

Parent : Accounts
Child : Payments

In Child Object (Payments Object) My query is as follow :

Payments.LinkPayments.ID=Payments.Id
(Payments.LinkPayments is the attribute that links my payments to my Account)

Mybe doing something wrong. Just shows me the Current Account & no payment details in the report.

Did you try the "This" prefix as shown in kklossen's example?

No i did`nt. But I just used the following query in the Child (Subreport)
And walla, its working.

FIND Payments WHERE Payments IN Accounts.LinkPayments ORDER BY Payments.Date
