►Q1◄ End User Query Filter input for Numbers?

Hi;

I have put 3 filters in my query. 2 of the filters are text and the last one is price.

At runtime if I enter an exact price, it finds it for me, however if I enter > 15 or <= 15 in the filter box, I get error:
"Invalid service parameters for service executeQuery in server message".

I looked in the user guide, and can't find any info how user is supposed to put condition in filter.

More Info:

The Price type is Numeric and format $0.00

I turned the "Reduce Search" to see if I can do filtering via Search Dialog. When I enter > 0 I get error "Unable to construct search query".

So, I don't know what I'm missing, since the Text filter/search works, but not the number.

Any idea?

I went ahead and added the Filter for Order Management sample and I get the same problem.

Could someone please confirm that you also get same error, if you try putting a condition in a "Number" filter query, before reporting it as a bug?

Filters do not support "<" ">" syntax. Only search forms do. You need to create a search form if you want this.
