easy way to color font-awesome icons

I have a bunch of Yes/no fields with the fa checkbox for the icon. I would like them all displayed in diff. colors. Is this easy?

Yes it is Bruce.

I have a number of CSS classes....

.bluebutton
.redbutton
.greenbutton

etc.

When I want to color a button, the button label looks like...

<span class="bluebutton">Add New Record</span>

And the fontawesome icon looks like

fa fa-plus bluebutton

That's it

It ain't pretty yet, still in testing, but here is how I am coloring checkboxes.
