Perhaps, I have made a poor assumption. I was thinking that I would need to distribute the servers to get the best performance. I have not looked at the efficiency of each transaction over the internet and I just assumed that AWAREIM was not tuned to run efficiently over very long distances with pot...

Globally Distributed AWAREIM Deployment
I have an awareim application that is running in one location in the USA and would like to improve performance for new users in Austrailia and the UK. I was thinking that I need to deploy a server to each location that would run the same application. I would like some guidance on the simplest, least...

The first link went bad. I can't make heads or tails out of the second link other than I think this is the text I need to enter to block 171.71.180.208 from all accessing anything through tomcat... <Valve className="org.apache.catalina.valves.RemoteAddrValve" deny="171\.71\.180\.208" /> Now where sh...

Killer Feature Request iGoogle Drag & Drop Form Sections
I've been using iGoogle for a while and the ability for users to drag and drop sections of the web page is very impressive.
I'd like to allow my awareim users to do the same. IMHO this would be a killer usere interface feature.
Any Thoughts?

COUNT UNIQUE VALUES
Is there an elegant way to COUNT UNIQUE VALUES of an attribute?
I think this is the SQL
SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT column_name) FROM table_name
I cant figure out the bus rule
BO.CNTUNIQUEPARTNUMBERS = SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT BO.PARTSLIST.PARTNUMBER) FROM BO.PARTSLIST

Security - Filtered By Users by IP Address
Hello - I have deployed this server on our corporate network. Another department has automated a "hacking system" that periodically "hacks" all the servers on the network. When it hacks awareim some sort of error is caused and all logins fail until the server is stopped and started. I know where the...

Sounds like a good approach. From reading the manual and looking at the samples I'm sure this capability exists in within the reporting function. However, I'm not sure how to get started. A sample report would go a long way towards education. Is there a sample that will help me understand the sugges...

I was hoping to have a single view that would show the same set of busobjects (servicerequests) in three graph views on one html page. 1) servicerequests counted by servicerequests.month on one line graph; 2) servicerequests counted by servicerequests.technology on a pie graph; 3) servicerequests co...

I found AwareIM to be very easy to use. I have not written a single bit of html, java or any other code and have a multi-user web application running for my business. Its been up and running since AwareIM version 1.1. I have upgraded AwareIM several times and am now running 2.2. I have had 0 issues ...

DISPLAY URL in a New Window
Is there any way I can use the DISPLAY URL command to open a new window?
Currently the command opens the URL in the body section of the form and the AWAREIM top banner is still present.

Thoughts about to Upgrade from 2.0 to 2.2
Folks-
Version 2.0 of my system has been running so well that I thought I would wait for version 2.2. I am now preparing for an upgrade. Are there any known issues with upgrading from 2.0 to 2.2?
Cheers, Charles
