Re: Mac Apple Silicon (M Chips)
I do manual updates so my Mac doesn’t restart without me knowing. I have a window where I do the updates and I shutdown/restart AIM during the update. In the 13+ years of using a Mac remote server, it has rarely shutdown without me initiating it. And no, AIM doesn’t automatically start up, I do it m...

Re: SOAP-based web services survey
Yes, I've learnt to shut down the configurator if it's going to be idol for a period of time. Another glitch I'm having is the integrity checker. The first time it is run when I'm using a new session in the configurator, it works fine. But any additional checks does not populate the "Problems" windo...

Re: SOAP-based web services survey
As an Aware IM and Mac user for 12 years, I’ll give some feedback on the macOS glitches. I’m currently running Aware IM 8.4 on a remote server as well as on my local iMac. I develop on my local mac and upload the BSV on my remote server. I accidentally updated to Big Sur on my local mac and though i...

Re: Need advice for Context in a Process [Solved]
Apparently I've been surviving all these years without using the feature of "input" in a process. Jaymer introduced me (thank you). Glad it was something simple Now to put my new knowledge to work.

Re: Need advice for Context in a Process
Thanks Jaymer - I will reach out to you today.
ACDC - That's a great tip. I was trying to use business rules after the data was imported, not during importing/creation. Sounds like that is the better way to go. Thank you

Re: Need advice for Context in a Process
Hey Jaymer, yes I'm still here :D I've set up my import so that it dumps to a BO so I can clean up the data and run some processes before I either create a new Contact or modify an existing Contact (the data contains a mix of both). So yes, the records are there. I want to insert the matching Contac...

Need advice for Context in a Process [Solved]
I have a BO (Import.BO) that I use to hold imported data that I want to link to an existing BO (Contact.BO). I have a process that inserts the Contact.BO to the Import.BO (1:1 relationship) that works only when I run it from an individual Import.BO record. “InsertContact” Process code: FIND Contact ...

Re: Error with Calendar Widget On Form
It happens when you try and create a calendar query in the configurator. When you go to change the "Display as" from Standard Grid to Calendar/Scheduled the unreadable error message pops up. Just like the picture in this post.
I'm emailing you the system output.

Re: Slow Aware app response issue...need guidance
Hey Jaymer from Florida...hope you are keeping safe from the hurricane heading your way! Fortunately, my server really started acting up last night, so I connected with my server host provider and they were able to see the same issue and check my server. So after a year of trying to figure out what ...

Slow Aware app response issue...need guidance
I’m in need of troubleshooting direction. My Aware app (hosted on stand-alone server) is responding with a 5-10 second delay when clicking menu buttons. This includes the logout button, so I’m having connection issues with the user logging in when not logged out. I have to restart Aware or have the ...

I just updated to the latest build and this is still an issue. My users are complaining as they can no longer use the managed queries. I've emailed a screenshot to you Support.

Re: Custom HTML forms for Aware IM 8.2 - need your opinion
Maybe. I use form tabs and references a lot, so it would only be for the odd form that I might use it for. I like the idea of the option, but would probably only use it if it's not too time-consuming to use. I definitely like the option of making things "prettier" for the client's UI...Kendo's theme...
