I don't use Locale much, but concur for the main reason that any feature not universally implemented detracts greatly from the value of the platform. Consistency is key.

In general CSS is a pretty low risk tool to 'fidget' with. There are always some level of risk that changes will not work on older browsers and/or look different on other platforms, but it an issue crops up typically it is just a minor cosmetic problem.

I agree it's a pain to retro fit in an already deployed app, but would it not be desirable behavior in general to default all forms to 100%, but allow devs to then specify a width? Or perhaps i misunderstand the problem?

Although it is not an automatic feature it is doable now. True, and to be honest my app creates sample data on start up so that item is not a huge issue for me, and other items above can be worked around - but that misses the point. I was just stating my preference to focus on simpler, faster, more...

The only way to deal with time zones 100% is to set everything to a standard (i.e. GMT) then have a user defined variable which adjusts all time values to local date/time with they are stored/retrieved. That includes report and other outputs, so it gets tricky in a hurry! We did this in SatuitCRM an...

Could you please be more specific as to which features you need polished? Sure. Aware is miles ahead of similar platforms but being a product manager my mind is always looking for ways to improve core strengths and eliminate weaknesses. Over the last few years I built up a big list, I tried to cate...

There has been some great new advanced features released recently and new ones for 5.8, yet improving some of the standard features like the form buttons does not seem to be a priority. +1 As nice as new features are, I too would like to see fewer net new features and more focus on polish and elega...

Great news from support! The fix will be in 5.8 In the meantime you can fix it yourself by doing the following if your users are not using IE 6 and 7: Open the file AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM/startup.html and locate the following lines: <!-- Placeholders for dynamic module scripts for IE7 and IE...
