Set 'Save on close' = True. That will enable the undo/cancel option.

can't that be done now? I use the following on all my forms.

Save - saves but leaves form open.
Close - saves data and closes form
Cancel - abandons changes and closes form

Yes, simply replacing the JDBC with an up-to-date version seems to have resolved it.

I am not 100% sure I understand what is being asked, but it sounds like what you want is a business object Group. create a Business object group, then create a reference attribute in the relevant parent BO.
