Re: the Stingy season - whats ahead for 2020 ?
I don't have time to read all these posts as its Christmas Eve, but would like to clarify as I think this initial post was blown way out of proportion. Jaymer, you quoted that I said that snap in is fixed. That is incorrect. We are still working on it, and we are just about there. We had multiple pr...

Re: Mobile camera snap into picture-in file folder
Hi Jaymer, Just saw your post and was surprised by your tone. We are in the middle of a project and are posting things as we could. When we think we solve something, upon further testing we have come up with additional issues. So we don't post until we are sure. Of course, we will share any solution...

Re: PhoneGap Camera issue
May have resolve mobile login. Guest stays mobile after registering whereas before it brought up the mobile browser. User Login stayed mobile always. But since need mobile snap-in for camera, can't have two different ways (mobile browser, and native) and of course, you want native. Will be doing fin...

Re: PhoneGap Camera issue
To clarify. When a user comes into the mobile index.html the screen has a Register button and a login button. Each button reacts differently. The Login stays in the native mode. The register button switches into the mobile browser and once registered the user is still in the mobile browser. If the u...

Re: PhoneGap Camera issue
I am not using the document type but the picutre type. The AIM documentations says this: One approach is to define an attribute of the Picture type for one of your forms. Aware IM will automatically generate controls to upload the image from a camera or photo library. This approach will work in both...

PhoneGap Camera issue
If I build a PhoneGap app, when wanting to upload and image the Camera option does not pop up. Only the file options. If I use the URL on the Phone, like a web app then the phone, video, etc options pop up. I'm assuming the camera plugin is included automatically but I have no expertise outside of A...

Document Management Custom work
Our business has mainly been with CPA's/ Accountants. I would like to add to our product line a document management module through AIM. However, I need one capability and would need this most likely custom developed. The current product out there for accountants created a print driver. So if the acc...

Re: Tenant relationship best practice question
Mark and Jaymer said "Creating from the Parent automatically creates a reference table in the DB which is unnecessary and it adds to complexity when you are trying to work out what is going on. I use it as a Golden Rule now......ONLY EVER CREATE A 1:M reference FROM THE CHILD TO THE PARENT." So I am...

Re: Tenant relationship best practice question
I use both methods. Customer.Tenant=LoggedInSystemUser.CurrentTenant in which the current tenant is set I believe as a non-persistent object when logging in (did this a long time ago). Every object has for example has if Customer.tenant is undefined, then Customer.Tenant = LoggedInSystemUser.Tenant....

Re: Tenant relationship best practice question
I went back and looked at creating from the tenant versus creating from the child. Interesting and you are correct. Creating from the Tenant does not add the RID, REN to the child which is needed for scripting. It creates a separate file. So it looks like I need to go back and re-create the Tenant /...

Re: Tenant relationship best practice question
Mark, excellent post. That is the way I pursued it today. However, do not have too much of a problem creating the relationships from the tenant. But I did have some issues previously where the data ren, rid, etc did not get created when the object was created. That is something I better look at. I r...

Re: Tenant relationship best practice question
Yes, a tenant can be a user. (but only one per company) But the system is unique. Just to get a feel for what is going on, see below. All users have a Detail and a Main object. The Main object is the login, and the Detail is tied to a particular tenant. For example, a CPA is invited to work in a com...

Tenant relationship best practice question
The app is going to have hundreds of tenants. The question is I am putting the tenant relationship in each object as 'owner of'. But a Customer is owned by the Tenant and the customer has references to address, invoice header, lines, etc. which owns those. If the tenant is deleted, the customers wil...
