Re: Priorities

I think a more 33/33/33 i.e all 3 areas just as important. The reality is that the median age of packages that could be renewed is over 4 years, the average is over 6 years and the oldest is almost four times that. If there was a continual programme of renewal then an even split would be sensible, ...

Re: Seems like lots of sites now log you in by sending a code instead of a PW. How will Aware handle this?

We have a proof of concept that uses AwareIM standard password functionality combined with 6 digit OTP such as Google Authenticator or Authy. User Intra on here has a JAR that manages OTP. He made it available at the last user conference on an as is basis, with the offer of commercial support. I’m ...

Re: [SOLVED]Operations with records in View query, but do changes in BO?

I am confused. Is it working right or do you still have a problem. Also, not sure why you need to access a view vs. an Aware BO with shortcuts to other tables. If the relationships have been formed properly then there is no need for SQL Views as Bruce says, every BO has a path to its relationed BOs...

There are, to my mind, three aspects to product management Renewal Enhancement New Features Renewal Nothing stays fresh forever, parts wear out and need to be updated. The same concept applies to software. Components get updated and flaws get removed. There are components within Aware IM that have b...

Re: Set attribute based on when the user logges in?

PointsWell : I did the session object, but setting the initial value to the current year will not get me the correct data when 2024 starts, unless I go in there and manually changes initial value to 2024. How to solve this? The Session Object is dropped when the user logs out and recreated when the...

Re: Set attribute based on when the user logges in?

The original question was: I am wondering if it is possible to set an attribute with a rule and/or a process that will run when the user logges in? Or maybe when the query is run? My query is an EXEC_SP, and I use input control in the panel operation where the user can select year. But I would like ...

Re: Propietry Database Design change utility

If you create Pet first and then create Owner and Vet then create the m:n relationships to Pet then you will end up with Owner_Ref and Vet_Ref. Would this method not be the correct method to setup the relationship then. That would be a constraint and its too late to add constraints. This is a bit o...

Re: Propietry Database Design change utility

Hate to disagree, but in BOTH cases, there is an intermediate table. One called PetPeople other called Pets_Ref. Both are almost identical. It really depends... If you create Pet first and then create Owner and Vet then create the m:n relationships to Pet then you will end up with Owner_Ref and Vet...

Re: Propietry Database Design change utility

I wonder why Aware does not create these automatically, just to be more compatible with outside tools. Thank you for this solution. Anthony At a guess part of the reason is that it would be a very inconsistent implementation and hard to do in a bidirectional way. The management of peer multiple rel...

Reuse the query on the filter for the peer attribute.

Look for Filter on the bottom right pane in config tool.

Re: INDEX keyword

Don’t have an answer but I’m intrigued as to how MSSQL allowed columns with reserved words as their name.

Re: Double Scrollbars

It is hard to tell from what you've posted.

Check the space allocated to the whole query, it looks too small to show the whole query and the space allocated to the query results is too small to show the query results.
