Re: Version 8.1
I'd really like to see Aware provide greater Eclipse access to the Configuration elements of Kendo - that is to say, reduce the need to use scripting to gain access to the more involved Kendo configuration elements.

Re: Checkboxes widget initializes with all rows checked
answer to your question is "no idea". but, its interesting, cause a few months ago I wanted a way to have a picklist show up with all the options checked - the user would only deselect a few as normal operation. wish there was an option for a "default" status of the PICK ONE OR MORE checkboxes. Thi...

I think this is a documented MySQL limitation

Re: Initialize multiple reference attribute during ENTER NEW
Create BOB
Insert BOA.pm_attribute in BOB.pm_attribute
Edit BOB using formName
You’d need to have some routine to delete the BOB in case the user doesn’t want to keep it. A status attribute could be used to periodically sweep up those Bo that don’t progress.

Re: Can I have a RULE save a form?
Really Roger? I didn't know there is a SAVE FORM command. Bruce It’s not a function Bruce, it’s a flag on Yes/No attributes (and drop downs I think). My experience with it though is that it produces a prompt to the user “Do you want to save Yes/No/Cancel” Which is what I was trying to say in my ori...

Re: What causes my BASSERVER.props to get over written
No suggestions but I have also experienced this.
Typically happens when shutting down the server (or potentially when you change settings - but as you have to shutdown to get these to take effect it may be the shutdown causing it)

Re: Can I have a RULE save a form?
I think this is covered by the 8.1 COMMIT transaction functionality.
I have not found a way to do it quietly (using check boxes and save when changed produces a prompt to the user)

Re: Version 8.1
I’d like to see some under the hood updates to bring things like Tomcat up to the current version, which I am hoping would be trivial. I’d also like to see the MySQL JDBC driver updated which seems to be less trivial as there seems to be an issue with the SSL side of it (though there is a not incons...

Re: Firewall Deny IP Ranges
There is something you can set in Tomcat to bounce repeated unsuccessful attempts from IP addresses but I didn’t know how to do it.
I have set the firewall on my google server to deny those IP ranges - so the traffic isn’t getting as far as Tomcat.
Downside is I have to monitor the Tomcat log.

Re: Large Form - Delaying Tab Rendering
You could create a pseudo tab layout using either operation buttons or html buttons each button could load a different form that displays the subset of attributes.
You would of course be substituting the cost of downloading the whole form for multiple loads of smaller amounts of data.

[IMPLEMENTED] Force a Save before a Process Run
Implemented in Build 2475 When you run a Process you can specify its output location (Same Panel, Default, New Tab etc.) Save is not a function that can be called from within a process. A process can be Executed after a Save BUT you can't specify its output location. If you are editing a form in a V...

Change Databases
Is there a way to change all my prior Configs from one database to another? For example I am working on a BSV application I'd like all the Application data to move to Backup And then I want to delete Application before recreating it with the last config. I did have a look at the database and tried r...
