Re: Which features do you want in the next release?

Agree, i think were all mature enough to read into a comment as much as is required. That said, i don't believe i have given Henrik a negative response. It's just my 'opinion' that with the current AIM setup (core components) there's not a robust way without restarting the connector. My comment to y...

Re: Lets encrypt SSL plugin

I agree with what you're suggesting, i just don't agree that AwareIM should be baking into their product support for LetsEncrypt directly to the core product as it stands today. There are many schools of through around 'system administration' and most enterprise users do not endorse shutting down se...

PSA: Please secure AwareIM servers (Tomcat Vulnerability).

In the interest of everyone's security, please make sure you take appropriate steps to secure your infrastructure. 1. Do not expose more ports than needed. 2. Make sure you keep up to date with security forums or CVE advice when they are released. 3. Where possible add more 'layers' to shield key ap...

Re: Which features do you want in the next release?

Heh, starting to see the light pointswell? :) Yes, it makes alot more sense to use something that's designed to take care of renewal instead of bolting onto tomcat as you can't reload the configuration / keystore without out shutting down the connector. I no longer expose tomcat to the public intern...

Re: Who really understands whats going on here? [video]

"fiddling" !!! :? Ain't doin' no fiddling. I don't fully agree with that... at least in this limited scenario. Strictly speaking in terms of SAAS, if my app offered a way to print a label for : Receiving, Inventory, PropertyLabel, etc., then I would tell the Tenant: Purchase a printer for each Labe...

Re: Who really understands whats going on here? [video]

I guess the technical description of what is happening here is server-side printing capabilities using a ZPL language. The holy grail is 'client side' printing which can be achieved by javascript , that way it embodies a complete webapp style application that can talk to a local resource. In this ex...

Re: Who really understands whats going on here? [video]

Where did you get the consenus from?

As far as i know, this has been available for a while and is easy under a Linux environment.

Regardless still a good outcome.

Re: Who really understands whats going on here? [video]

You've connected this label printer via a TCPIP connection and then sending ZPL commands either via python or some other back end script.

AIM processes the request, it constructs the required commands in ZPL format and then encapsulates it to the label printer.

Java 8 - 241 : So that LE (Lets Encrypt and others) intermediate certificates are handled without the error

Re: Which features do you want in the next release?

Not in a rush, but i think the following would be nice. 1. An AwareIM licensing server so we can migrate our licenses without the need to manually request. Purely so that when its 1:00am on Saturday..we have a method. :) 2. Rehash on the licensing methods.. ie Developer but with the ability to run t...

Re: NOT GOOD - AwareIM let one member delete another

It was just a test rule, i normally use that rule in a process to test out certain things. I normally try and keep logic rules defined as much as possible (down to the attribute) EG IF 'BO <> BO1 THEN' to 'IF BO.Attribute <> BO1.Attribute THEN' as it makes more sense (to me) that you're testing a va...

Re: NOT GOOD - AwareIM let one member delete another

So what happens when you do this?

IF Member.ID <> LoggedInRegular.user.ID THEN
REPORT Error 'Testing Rule'

?

Re: NOT GOOD - AwareIM let one member delete another

You need to look at using 'groups'.

Use a similar rule where regularuser weeds out duplicate login names.
