LDAP using with Active Directory

Has anyone had success using the new LDAP functions/sign-on? I am trying to get it configured, but I'm not having success.

Setting it up is not trivial - you have to follow instructions in the User Guide rigorously.

I have also tried but to no avail. Followed the user manual and got passed the 5 steps on page 267. But keep getting 'Unable to login through LDAP' in the logs. Let me know if you manage to get it to work.

Can you attach the output of the Aware IM Server after an unsuccessful attempt to login?

For some reason it appears to try and login twice as well?

Note this line:

These are all parameters used by Aware IM to login to LDAP/Active Directory. And the Active Directory is unable to authenticate using these parameters. So please double check why.

The fact that it tries to authenticate twice is OK
