I created a BO by connecting to a MySql DB, learning the attributes, then persisting the DB as a Derby DB.
When trying to import data from a CSV file into the new BO, I received the following error message:
"Internal error. Error reading business object. Comparisons between INTEGER and CHAR are not supported. "
I have no idea where to start in identifying/solving this problem.
I was able to successfully import 1 BO by using this method & got this error message on the 2nd BO.
Can someone help give me some clues?
Thanks!
Tom
Error message received during import -- PLEASE HELP !!
Hello
to me it sounds as if your BO's attributes don't match the data from your .csv file. Take a look at the first record that can't be imported. There must be a difference to the others.
Another way of importing data (and IMHO a more flexible one) is described in http://www.hiden.org/awareim/tips-n-tri ... r-database
Hope it helps,
Hubertus
