Almost anything with amazon is overly complicated.
Is there ANY advantage to storing images in S3 rather than in the filesystem?
There's no outside service that needs to access my images where it would be easier for them to pull it from S3.
And I'm planning to use a CDN, so once the origin images have been cached at the CDN, they won't be hitting my server/tomcat anyway.
Just wondering?

Re: Is it worth putting images in S3?
I have document store (250GB), having the files on S3 would make it easier to move servers without having to deal with the files, and also more secure. So I am planning to migrate.

Talk to me after you've set up the Container on S3 and have being saved there.
